Microsoft Access 2016 is an easy and effective software for creating desktop databases. You can quickly create database applications in your browser. SQL databases store your data and make your information secure and safe. It also allows you to share your application. Access 2016 lets you control your business in a better way.
TellMe Box– You will see a small text box on the ribbon after starting Microsoft Access, the TellMe Box. The box will have a text that says, ‘’what do you want to do?’’ You can write phrases or words related to your work, and it will quickly suggest options.
New Themes– You can change the themes according to your wish in Access. Choose between the two different Office themes to apply in the Access app. You can either choose the white theme or a more colorful option.
Steps to access Themes:
- Go to File.
- Click on Options.
- Select the General.
- A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select a new theme next to Office themes.
Data management– Manage and organize your data with desktop database templates. The already existing templates of Access have been redesigned to give it a modern look.
Steps to apply the templates:
- Go to file after launching your Microsoft Access 2016.
- Select New.
- Search for contacts, resource tracking, task management, or event management
Data export to Excel– Microsoft Access 2016 comes with a built-in feature that lets you create a list of data in Excel. Use the Table Reference Manager in the dialog box for doing this.
Steps to access this feature:
- Go to External data.
- Click on the Table Reference Manager
- Select the linked data sources you would like to export
- Click on the Export Excel button.
